 HARLEM- Diane “Pee Wee” Healy 72 passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Benefis Health Care in Great Falls, Mt. of natural causes.

    Funeral services will be11:00 AM Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Red Whip Community Center. Burial will be in the Healy Family Cemetery. Condolences for the family may be left at

    Diane “Pee Wee” Healy was born January 26, 1944 to Glen and Leona Messerly at Fort Belknap. She married Gerald “Bessy” Healy in 1963. She attended college for 2 years and work as a nurse’s aid for a number of years. In 1985 she married Robert “Ketsey” Healy. They lived at Fort Belknap Agency and she became a full time homemaker.

    Pee Wee enjoyed bingo, going to town to shop at second hand stored, getting her hair don, dancing with her husband and visiting/spending time with her family, and grandchildren.

    She is survived by her husband, Robert “Keisey” Healy; children, Gerald “Manny” (Rochelle) Healy, Milton (Zoni) Healy, Shirley (Clint) Young Bear, Audrey Healy, Shelly Healy, Leona (Buzz) Blackcrow, David Healy; brothers, Mike Messerly of Lodge Pole, Dean Messerly of Hays, Gordon Messerly of Lodge Pole, Doug Messerly and Leon Messerly both of Ft. Belknap; sisters, Shirley Bell of Lodge Pole, Glenda Messerly, Barbara Ball, Roberta Messerly all of Ft. Belknap; 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her parents Glen & Leona Messerly; sisters, Marjorie Snell, Carol Jean Doney; brother, Robert Messerly Sr.; grandsons, Cooper Healy, Parker Messerly.
