BILLLINGS-Loudon C. Blueshield, 65, a homemaker, died Saturday, January 20 at a Billings hospital of natural causes.
Wake services will be 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 23, at the Chief Nosey Community Center in Lodge Pole. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday at the Chief Nosey Community Center. Loudon Blueshield was born at Fort Belknap, MT on August 14, 1952 to Irvin Thomas Blueshield & Camilla Gone. Loudon attended Wahpeton Indian school in ND, Flandreau high school in SD & she resided in Albuquerque, New Mexico, continuing her education in optometry at Southwestern Indian Poly Tech collage. She then moved to California where her occupation was an optometrist aide and carpenter. She also resided in Lawndale, Long Beach, Lancaster and Torres Martinez Reservation. In California.
Lou loved cooking/barbequing, camping in the desert, lounging on the beach, motorcycles, everything ‘Elvis”, but most of all being with her family and friends. Lou had an infectious laugh and gave everyone a ‘Nickname” she enjoyed all her special friends in Montana and California.
Lou leaves behind her children Tamera Lincoln, Robert "Bobby" Cavanaugh (deceased), London "birdie" Cavanaugh, Louis Allen Cavanaugh, Cecilia Ibarra along with her adopted children: Kimberlee Cavanaugh, Francise Cavanaugh and Thomas Broken-Rope. Loudon was well loved by Robert Allen Neff III, Robert Cavanaugh, Manuel Ibarra & Amos First-Raised.
Loudon's siblings are Alberta Fox, Tony Not-Afraid, Rose Sullivan, Francine Estell, Donna "Meech" Markham, Tammy and Kim Sleeping Bear, Craig, Greg & William Talks different. Her closest friends are Sugie Main, Joyce Sullivan, Stanford Rides the Horse, Stanna PlainBull, Vicky Holds the Enemy.
Survivors: Aunts Sophie & Rose Marie Wahoben and Emma Mosquito also the StarChief family all of the Mosquito Reserve, Canada.. Her Grandkids are Camilla, Melissa, Jonathan, Pamela, Mariah, Smith, Landon & Malia Longknife, Clarice Cavanaugh & Evey Gendro, Naima Camilla & Ariah Marie Cavanaugh, Harley Suzie, Louis Jr., Raiden & Warren Cavanaugh, Phalen, Kalen, Daxson & Everley Ibarra-Roundstone. Great-grandson: Jonathan Argueta.
