Milton was born October 31, 1968 in Fort Belknap to Gerald “Bessie” and Diane “Pee Wee” Healy.

Milton joined the United States Army and served in the Panama Conflict. Upon his return from the Army, Milton returned home to the Ranch while working numerous jobs and started his cattle and farming operation. As a hobby, he was a vicious header, riding, roping, and spending time with his family, even qualifying for the INFR in team roping. Scoot was a hardworking, loving, caring person who got the job done; always there to lend a hand, he couldn’t bear to see anyone go without, even a stranger. Living every day to the fullest making everyone who he came across, smile by telling a joke or teasing around being the free spirit he was. Milton never held a grudge and always seen past their mistakes. He always made a stop to visit his crazy Aunt Berta and Uncle Dusty Roads to reminisce.

Scoot loved to hunt, fish, going for a cruise, checking on his cattle and spoiling his grandchildren with love, candy, and whatever they wanted. He always made sure his family was taken care of and never went without!

Scoot is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Zoni “Bones” Cochran-Healy; his children Wesley Cochran, Eric Healy, Tiffany Healy, Taruha (Josh) Kirkaldie, Jevie Doney; grandchildren Jerry Kirkaldie, Lyneece Kirkaldie, Wyett Kirkaldie, Braden Horn, Titus Stiffarm, Junior Stiffarm, and Aryah Healy; brothers Gerald “Manny” (Rochelle) Healy, Dave Messerly; Kenneth (Cherly) Hawley, sisters Audrey Healy, Shelley Healy, Leona “Sissy” (Buzz) Blackcrow, Shirley (Clint) YoungBear, Tescha (Shelley) Fox, and Jacqueline (Jay) Martin.

It is with deepest condolences and sympathy that I write these words. There is no amount of language that can convey what a loss Scoot is to family, I pray for strength and comfort in the weeks and months to come. From our arms to heavens door...Scoot is in pain no more. May his memory give us all a smile from time to time that he is now an angel in heaven!
