Patricia, better known as Pat was born December 27, 1945 in Stanley, ND to George and Florence (Westby) Vooge. She was the youngest of seven children. She was raised and educated in Stanley. As a young teenage girl, Pat helped her father on the family farm, driving truck during harvest was just one of her jobs.

After her education, Pat married Myron Engen on August 30, 1963 in Tioga, ND. It was here they made their home and their son, Brian was born. In 1967, they moved to Anchorage, Alaska, where Myron was employed in the oil industry. Their daughter Cyndee was born there. Pat was deeply committed to raising her family. She arranged family camping trips, followed her son’s football and hockey games and her daughter’s cheer-leading events. Pat was active in her local church. As her children grew older, she worked outside the home as an office manager at her husband's business.

Pat moved to the Great Falls area in 1988. In 2006, she moved to Malta to be closer to family. This is where she met her current husband, Cliff. Pat married Clifford Johnson on January 18, 2008 in Malta. They enjoyed dancing at jam sessions, traveling together, and supporting each other for ten years and 3 months.

Pat’s interests included bowling, dancing, playing cards, walking and most of all shopping. She kept in touch with children through Skype, texting and emailing. Pat made it a point to learn to keep current with new technology. She was meticulous in appearance, very thoughtful, generous, and an excellent cook. Pat’s extended family, and friends, many from her church were an important part of her life. Special friends included Lana Ulrich and Kim Peigneux, whom Pat thought of as a daughter. Pat will be remembered by her ability to be so easy to visit with and by being so accepting of others.

Survivors include her husband Cliff Johnson, son Brian (Candi) Engen of Soldotna, AK and daughter Cyndee (Brian) Cavanah of Seattle, WA. Grandsons John Engen and Scott Stanford and a sister, Cheryl Beeter of Minot, North Dakota, stepson, Frank (Karen) Morin of Malta, step daughter Leona(Paul) Siewing and their sons Jonathan and Seth of Malta, stepdaughter Terri (DJ) LaVerdure and step granddaughters Sonja and Jeanna LaVerdure of Great Falls, MT.
