
DODSON- Herman Dolphay, 98 passed away
peacefully on June 28, 2019 at Northern Montana Care center of
natural causes. Family will receive friends Sunday, July 7, 2019
at 7:00 P.M. at Kirkwood Memorial Chapel. Memorial service will
be Monday, July 8, 2019 at Dodson School Auditorium at 2:00P.M.

Herman was born on October 4, 1920 to
Nicholas & Decora (Hespe) Dolphay. He attended school at
Longview school North of Dodson Montana. He married his wife
Alice Young on November 10, 1947 they made their home in
Phillips County and raised 6 children Barb, Glenn, Robert,
Wayne, Harold & Randy.
He was a member of CC camp early in
life. Herman spent most of his life as a farmer. He also worked
for the farmers union and for a number of years Phillips county
road department. He went in with a group of other farmers to
purchase a grain elevator in Dodson. He also enjoyed collecting
coins, & playing cards.
Herman was preceded in death by his
parents, his wife Alice and 2 of his children Harold and Wayne.
He is survived by 4 children Barbara
(Steve) Tremblay, Glenn (Toni) Dolphay, Robert (Patti) Dolphay,
& Randy (Patty Green) Dolphay. Sisters; Edith Guza, Lenora
Pomeroy, & numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
