SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF

     Our professional service charge includes but is not limited to consultation with family and clergy, arrangement and direction desired, preparation and filing of necessary notices, authorizations and consents, and other services and attendance prior to, during and following the funeral including coordinating with those providing other portions of the funeral (cemetery, crematory, florist, vault companies, musicians, etc.)

EMBALMING

    Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing.  If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement which does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH EMBALMING IS REQUIRED BY MONTANA RULE

    According to 37.116.103 Administrative Rules of Montana, a body “en route more than 8 hours, or if the termination of common carrier transport occurs more than 36 hours after the time of death, the body must be either embalmed or refrigerated at 35 degrees F. or cooler,” or “ when being transported by a private conveyor and the body will not reach its destination within 48 hours after the time of death, must be either embalmed or refrigerated at 35 degrees F or colder.

 

OTHER PREPARATION OF BODY

     This service includes the usual cosmetology, dressing and casketing of the body or washing, disinfecting and casketing of the remains if no embalming.

       Additional Vehicles (airport, crematory or equipment).

       Cross country mileage per mile one-way.
